The Colony Hardwood Floors agent Christine Snyder, of Snyder’s Carpet Care, gives expert advice on hardwood flooring.
Choosing your hardwood flooring requires many tough decisions to be made. For this reason Snyder’s Carpet Care would like to provide you with our knowledge on the latest and greatest hardwood floors. This month we will discuss Alamo Hand Scraped wood flooring.
Inspired by the rustic look and feel of Texas, Struxtur has designed this product in an attempt to bring style and design options to the flooring consumer. Alamo flooring is hand scraped. Normally, hardwood floors are “scraped” by factory machines creating a symmetrical look on the lines of the hardwood. Alamo is hand scraped by artisans giving it rustic chatters (grooves) and abrasions, perfect for homes that are going for a rustic yet elegant look. Also, Alamo is made from hickory wood, which is known to be tough and durable. Over time the chatters will deepen a bit, enhancing the uniqueness of the wood.
Hardwood flooring at Struxtur begins with a firm commitment to sustainable practices. They use only green-certified materials in their series of stunning hardwood flooring created to be as responsible as they are beautiful and authentic.
Here are but some of the key benefits of Alamo Flooring:
