Christmas Disaster Averted at My Parents Home – From Snyder’s Carpet Care Customer Gregg Sterett.
It was always fun to go home for Christmas and visit my folks. Often we could count on a white Christmas, always a fire in the fireplace, and time for family and friends to get together and enjoy a real home-style Christmas with the folks. This year lots of our parents friends were stopping by to say Hi, have a glass of eggnog or wassail, exchange hugs and visit for a few minutes and take off again. Some of them we would see later at midnight mass. It was a small town Christmas Eve in Nevada, Missouri. My brothers family was also visiting.
